Welcome to the Directory of Sworn Translators of France, legal experts of the Appeals Court.
"The title of expert registered on the list of an Appeal Court is expressly protected.
A judicial expert is a qualified professional, providing occasional support to judges in the discharging of the duties assigned to them by the various French jurisdictions"
This directory was designed using the lists available and in effect in the various Appeal Courts of France on January 1st 2017.
This list is not comprehensive as it is liable to change during the year.
This site will allow you to find a legal expert translator or interpreter according to various selection criteria:
Please tick the Pro box of the express file
form for priority allocation of your file.
Reply in under 30 mins.
Please specify a desired deadline in the
express translation form for faster
allocation of your file.
Reply in under 60 mins.
- Desired target language
- Specialist field
- Department or region
- Court of Appeal of membership of the translator/interpreter
If your search returns no results in a directory search, we advise widening the selection criteria or submitting an express file. This is because some specialist fields or source languages are not represented among the sworn experts in a given department or region. In this situation our teams can conduct a search for an available person on your behalf if you are unable to find one by yourself using a national search.
We particularly recommend requesting several translation quotes for any kind of civil translation, given the considerable price differences observed between different legal experts.
